2010.02.25 Survivor Heroes vs. Villians - The Buff Is On Fire
The lessons learned from Survivors on this week’s episode:
* You are naive to come back to the game and assume fair fighting
* You can see who is alligning with whom by who sleeps by each other
* You don’t get ahead in Survivor by working hard, being smart, and doing the right thing - you need to schmooze people and look pretty
* How to get ahead in life is the same as it is in Survivor
* If you could bottle up the ability to schmooze people and look pretty - do it!
There is a lot of talk and glimpses of relationships and who is trying to align with whom. Parvarti and Russell are getting quite cozy and Coach and Rob are perceived as trible leaders, Sandra has no opinion and just goes with the group.
The immunity and reward challenges are combined this week - Square off one on one, sumo style, using a bag to knock the other person off the platform. First team to get 8 points wins. The Heroes tribe was in aggressive form tonight and easily won every challenge - nice!
The villians talked about voting Randy off because he wasn’t very strong vs. voting Parvarti off as she has relationships with a lot of the other tribe. In the end, strength wasn’t as valuable and Randy was sent home.
Picks:
Marji - Reward - Heroes, Immunity - Heroes, Voted Off - Parvarti
Mike - Reward - Villians, Immunity - Heroes, Voted Out - Coach

2010.02.18 Survivor Heroes vs. Villains - Y’all
The tribes are still struggling to build shelters - well one tribe is and it is the Villians. Rob is getting irritated with his buffoon tribe and needs to take a break so he goes for a walk, I mean fall. Rob passes out, comes too and looks to be in bad shape. The medics note that he looks worse than he is and after some water and confessions to Jeff, Rob is able to get up and stay in the game.
Immunity and reward challenge - teams of two people run out and get a crate and roll the crate back to the start. Six crates need to be collected and then constructed to build a staircase then the first team to have everyone race to the top using the staircase wins. The team wins immunity and much needed nails, ropes and a tarp.
The heroes have a new strategy, “one voice”, so they listen to one person who will direct the group. This one voice strategy works for a few minutes and then they all try to talk over each other and in the end loose again. Boston Rob pulls his team back from a slow start and brings the Villians to victory.
Back at camp the Heroes tribe continues to argue over the one voice strategy and who was following and who wasn’t. James gets heated and is none too pleased with Stephanie.
Before tribal council James is trying to get people to vote Stephanie off as she “never wins anything” and Stephanie, Colby and Tom are trying to get people to vote Amanda off as she is the weakest player. Cirie and Candice are the middle votes and eventually are swayed to one side. Stephanie, the tribe has spoken.
We are sorry to see Stephanie go.

This week we pay a tribute to Stephenie, who spent a lot of time alone after her tribe was obliterated during her initial season with Brother Love’s “Alone” from his “Album of the Year”. I wonder if her hair is as soft as his?

2010.02.11 Survivor Heroes vs. Villians - Could’ve, Would’ve…Didn’t
The helicopters fly through the sky and swoop down onto the beach dropping off this season’s Survivors. Heroes vs. Villians season starts immediately with the first reward challenge which brings on a dislocated shoulder, a broken toe and a missing bra. Two players from each team race to dig up one bag and then fight to bring it back to their mat - first to get three points win fire. It was a brutal challenge but in the end the Heroes grab the victory and head back to camp with flint.
At camps the alliances are starting and groups are starting to whisper.
Immunity challenge - six tribe members race to make a boat, then paddle out to get a torch, paddle back, solve a puzzle, then use the planks to build a ladder and climb to the top. The first tribe to the top, wins. The Heroes have a clear head start buidling their boat and getting their torch but are stumped by the puzzle and the Villians pull ahead and easily win.
Discussion around who should be voted out start and there are talks of Sugar, Tom, Stephanie, or Cirie leaving but in the end it was Sugar who was voted out. Good bye Sugar we will miss you!
Marji’s picks - Reward - Villians, Immunity - Heroes, Voted Out - Courtney
Mike’s picks - Reward - Villiams, Immunity - Villiams, Voted Out - Rupert
