With Russell out of the game, Galu is a split tribe of 4 girls and 4 boys.  The boys plot that if they vote Shambo as leader then that will win her over and get her on their side.  Before the other girls know what is happening a vote is called and Shambo is the new leader.  Monica doesn’t know what hit her but knows she doesn’t like it.

Reward Challenge - The game of Memory, survivor style.  13 pairs of survival items are laid out and the tribes need to make a match.  If you forfeit the item you gain a point.  Most points = win.  So each leader has to make the decision - do we Need this item or do we Want to win.  Galu makes the most matches and again WINS.  Shambo sends Laura to the other camp and the rest of Galu takes a sailboat ride and enjoys a filling meal.

Laura is greeted at Foa Foa and Russell works his magic and wins Laura over convincing her that they can have a secret alliance and go all the way to the final 2.  Hmmm, Russell, I think your counting skills are way off because isn’t this the 4th or 5th person you are taking to the final 2?

Immunity Challenge - each team paddles out and fishes to get sets of puzzle pieces.  The first to bring the pieces back and solve the puzzle win.  A pattern was needed but it was the wrong one that Foa Foa followed - they are going to tribal council again, Galu Wins!

There is discussion if Jaison should go because he quits, he isn’t performing at the challenges as they want him to, or should it be Liz.  Liz goes.

Rain, rain go away - but it really only stops for a teaser moment and then is back.  The elements are taking their toll on the tribes but the Russells won’t let them get to their spirits - one evil spirit, one working spirit.

There will only be the reward challenge this week - both tribes are sent to council regardless of who wins.  The winner of the challenge does get pizza as their reward and they get to dine while watching the other tribe suffer through tribal.  One person is in a sphere and verbally guides two of her blindfolded teammates on how to push her along the maze.  Once at the end of the maze she then guides her other four tribe mates, all blindfolded, through solving another maze. Foa Fao and Galu both do well going through the first maze, Foa Foa is leading and then what happens? Russell decides to take a nap, right on the game board, how rude! As his tribe yells at him to get his head off the board, Jeff realizes the issue and calls in the medics.

Russell goes down, but he went down fighting all the way. Jeff calls it and Russell has to go home. But both tribes still have to go to tribal.

At Galu, the boys team up and decide that Shambo isn’t a threat and is a hard worker in the challenges so if she can “lock it up” (or we would say shut up) she will be safe tonight. Foa Foa will be voting one of the girls off to keep the tribe 3 men strong.

At tribal there is a lot of talking and the twist is that Jeff says no one will be voted off.

In tribute to Russell’s effort he had a perfect ending quote “To do it and fail, is better than to never try.” Get out there and try everyone!

They thought the ocean was a challenge until they had to deal with the rain.

Tree mail alerts the tribes that the food challenge is here.  A person from each tribe face each other and spin the wheel of food to determine what the ingredients are and then Jeff makes them a special Survivor Smoothie.  Nothing on the menu is appetizing but then when it is blended together makes some wicked drinks.  All the survivors do well until it comes to Ashley.  She can’t drink the drink so Galu wins!  Galu gets a Survivor bar-b-que and Shambo is sent to the other tribe to spy and “gets nothing”.  Leader Russell tells Galu that this is Shambo’s punishment for letting the chicken loose.  Russell’s new nickname is The Punisher.

The rain continues and both tribes are miserable and then the Immunity Challenge comes.  A man and woman from each tribe must hold a net.  The other tribe throws coconuts into the net until they get the person to drop their nets.  Last team standing wins immunity.  Galu’s strength and Foa Foa’s lack of ability to make a basket leads Galu to another win.

Foa Foa are stuck huddled under their shelter so planning for tribal council can’t really be done.  Russell can’t strategize and that is worse on him then 48 hours in the rain.  In the end Ashley is sent home leaving Foa Foa needing to re-group and figure out a way to win.

The reward challenge calls for a few team members from each tribe to go to the challenge.  The tribes see chickens and treasure chests but instead of running with the goods the tribes are “nice” and compete in the challenge.  Jeff isn’t there so why follow the rules?  Galu wins and Foa Foa goes home empty handed - again.

To win immunity the tribe must run across a net-run carrying blocks.  At the end the blocks must be stacked in one tall stack.  Next, the teams must cross a rope bridge, untie bundles of blocks and again stack the blocks.  Foa Foa stays calm and steady and WINS!

At camp, Russell blames Monica for the loss and wants her out.  The tribe wants Yaz out because she does nothing in camp.  Russell wants everyone to lead him because of course he is The Leader, however the tribe takes over and Yaz is out.  Galu has lost a tribe member but have they lost their momentum?

While Galu is turning into either Club Med or Camp 90210, Foa Foa is struggling.  Russell is still planting his seeds of evil and Ben is still irritating tribemates.

Treemail bring swimsuits for the players and also a combined immunity and reward challenge.  Each tribe will swim out in teams of two to retrieve a box.  Once all four boxes are retrieved they must be assembled so no one side has the same color.  The twist is that to get to the boxes the other tribe is in the water trying to stop you.  Galu Wins - 3rd time in a row.  For reward, Russell, as leader, chooses for the team between comfort and function.  He chooses comfort because “If I make the woman happy, we’ll all be happy”.  Shambo is choosen to join Foa Foa to observe.

Shambo + Foa Foa = Happiness.  Shambo greets the group with sincere compliments and with camp tips.  While she was working and getting to know everyone she also looks for the idol.

In preparing to go to tribal council Jaison and Russell struggle over who should be voted out - Ashley because Russell doesn’t like her or Ben (choose your own reason - there are plenty).  Jaison and Ben have it out at tribal council and in the end Ben goes.
