SPECIAL GUESTS: Chemda “The Girl” Khalili and Keith Malley have spent the last 5 years (not just 39 days like the wussies on our favorite TV show) in the wilderness of New York City forging a living as podcasters producing the oh so popular Keith and The Girl show. This audio program is listened to by people around the world. For an over an hour every week day Keith, Chemda and their guests entertain with hilarious insight and wit from their apartment studio. Most Armchair Survivor fans know of and/or follow Keith and The Girl, but, for the four or five of you who don’t, this is the perfect opportunity to find out why both Marji and Mike, along with tens of thousands of others listen to this show religiously.
In addition to being probably the biggest independent podcasts in the world, Keith and Chemda are now authors. Their new book, “What Do We Do Now?“, is available in books stores both on-line and in real-life. You’ll want to buy this book — we have and we love it. Click here to buy and to see more reasons to buy.
Keith and Chemda are truly pioneers in the communication arena making podcasting a viable occupation. Even after the “big boys” like Mevio (formerly PodShow) seem to have failed to let their producers “quit their day jobs” and still make a living, Keith and Chemda continue to grow their media company in much the way Howard Stern has with radio. Like Stern, The Keith and The Girl Show has set new standards for audio podcast shows. As well, they have delved into internet video, merchandising, CD and DVD publishing and now book publishing. In years to come, communication majors will most likely be studying the phenomena that is Keith and The Girl along with others like Howard Stern, Orson Wells, Milton Berle, Mark Burnett and Guglielmo Marconi.
Do you have a question for Keith and Chemda?

Voice Mail Callers - please format your questions like this (drinking is optional):

- State your gender, age, sexual preference and marital status (we do recognize civil unions how ever you’d like to call them).
- State your question.
If CBS is going to preempt our beloved television show, screw ‘em. We’ll do them one better. Keith and The Girl, live on Armchair Survivor.
2010.03.11 Survivor Heroes vs. Villains - There Are All Kinds Of Chocolate
After switching his vote last week, JT comes back to camp and tries to gain trust back. Meanwhile at camp Villain almost everyone is doing “dragon-slayer chi”, which is sometimes known as “Coach-Chi”, all except Russell. Russell is still searching for the idol and then… found it.
Reward Challenge - Three of each tribe battle in a pit to get the balls to pass to their tribemates who will try to make a basket. First team to make two baskets wins reward of a feast of chocolate and a swim in a gorgeous watering hole. It is a rough game, James even gets hurt, but in the end the Villains win! The medics look over James and with a heavily bandaged knee goes back in the game.
Immunity Challenge - One person is the caller who directs blindfolded teammates to collect puzzle pieces. Once all the pieces are collect the tribe can take off the blindfolds and solve a puzzle. The Heroes have a clear lead after collecting pieces but can’t solve the puzzle fast enough and… the Villains win Immunity.
The Heroes are frustrated and are considering voting off Candice, Tom or James - in the end Tom gets the most votes and is out.
Picks:
Marji - Reward - Heroes, Immunity - Villains, Voted Off - James
Mike - Reward - Villains, Immunity - Heroes, Voted Off - Rob
Thank you all for your continued support!!
Our break music is appropriately titled Thursday Night from a local Akron Band called Lock4. Check them out at Lock4.net. Also note, they’ll be touring the country as a Stone Temple Pilots tribute band. Go see them and tell them we sent ya!

2010.03.04 Survivor Heroes vs. Villians - Does Sears Wish Book Have Immunity Idols For Sale?
Sniffle, sob, boooo hoooo - man up Coach! Coach turns to Tyson for support and Tyson gives it to him - don’t tell your stories, don’t wear feathers to tribal, and do your tai chi in private - Come ‘on man! Fist bump between Boston Rob and Coach and hopefully all will be okay.
Tree mail brings a Sears catalog for the tribes to pick their own reward. In the reward challenge one person from each team races and heads down a slide, grabs their assigned number and then moves down the slide to shoot a ball into a basket. First team with four baskets win. It is a close race and in the end the Villians win reward!
At camp the Villians are admiriing their loot and find an idol clue in one of the tools. The team decides that whomever looks for the clue will be the next one out. The clue is your curse. At the Heroes tribe they decide to make coffee and find a clue also, however, they all scramble and hunt out the idol. Tom finds the idol and tries to sneak it into his sock but Amanda sees him and tells all he has it.
Immunity Challenge, or as we have titled it (Good) Russell Ball. One person is in a giant ball and has to guide two blindfolded tribemates to push the ball through a maze. Then they guide three other blindfolded tribemates through a ball maze. It was a close maze with Boston Rob and Tom guiding their teams and in the end the Villians won Immunity.
The heroes are scheming and who will go - Colby or Cirie? JT turns and it ends up with Cirie leaving.
Picks:
- Marji - Reward - Heroes, Immunity - Heroes, Voted Out - Russell
- Mike - Reward - Villians, Immunity - Villians, Voted Out - Candice

2010.02.25 Survivor Heroes vs. Villians - The Buff Is On Fire
The lessons learned from Survivors on this week’s episode:
* You are naive to come back to the game and assume fair fighting
* You can see who is alligning with whom by who sleeps by each other
* You don’t get ahead in Survivor by working hard, being smart, and doing the right thing - you need to schmooze people and look pretty
* How to get ahead in life is the same as it is in Survivor
* If you could bottle up the ability to schmooze people and look pretty - do it!
There is a lot of talk and glimpses of relationships and who is trying to align with whom. Parvarti and Russell are getting quite cozy and Coach and Rob are perceived as trible leaders, Sandra has no opinion and just goes with the group.
The immunity and reward challenges are combined this week - Square off one on one, sumo style, using a bag to knock the other person off the platform. First team to get 8 points wins. The Heroes tribe was in aggressive form tonight and easily won every challenge - nice!
The villians talked about voting Randy off because he wasn’t very strong vs. voting Parvarti off as she has relationships with a lot of the other tribe. In the end, strength wasn’t as valuable and Randy was sent home.
Picks:
Marji - Reward - Heroes, Immunity - Heroes, Voted Off - Parvarti
Mike - Reward - Villians, Immunity - Heroes, Voted Out - Coach

2010.02.18 Survivor Heroes vs. Villains - Y’all
The tribes are still struggling to build shelters - well one tribe is and it is the Villians. Rob is getting irritated with his buffoon tribe and needs to take a break so he goes for a walk, I mean fall. Rob passes out, comes too and looks to be in bad shape. The medics note that he looks worse than he is and after some water and confessions to Jeff, Rob is able to get up and stay in the game.
Immunity and reward challenge - teams of two people run out and get a crate and roll the crate back to the start. Six crates need to be collected and then constructed to build a staircase then the first team to have everyone race to the top using the staircase wins. The team wins immunity and much needed nails, ropes and a tarp.
The heroes have a new strategy, “one voice”, so they listen to one person who will direct the group. This one voice strategy works for a few minutes and then they all try to talk over each other and in the end loose again. Boston Rob pulls his team back from a slow start and brings the Villians to victory.
Back at camp the Heroes tribe continues to argue over the one voice strategy and who was following and who wasn’t. James gets heated and is none too pleased with Stephanie.
Before tribal council James is trying to get people to vote Stephanie off as she “never wins anything” and Stephanie, Colby and Tom are trying to get people to vote Amanda off as she is the weakest player. Cirie and Candice are the middle votes and eventually are swayed to one side. Stephanie, the tribe has spoken.
We are sorry to see Stephanie go.

This week we pay a tribute to Stephenie, who spent a lot of time alone after her tribe was obliterated during her initial season with Brother Love’s “Alone” from his “Album of the Year”. I wonder if her hair is as soft as his?
