It was an interesting finale with great challenges and the always famous walk.

In the first challenge the contestants must balance multiple dishes on a “arm”.  The goal is to stay balanced and not drop the dishes.  Colby and Parvati are the last two in the challenge and Parvati wins and the last Hero, Colby, is voted out.

The final four then walk the walk of the past contestants and remember each and then head to the final challenge.

In the final challenge the Survivors are blindfolded and must walk through a maze and gather 4 medallions.  After gathering the medallions the first to reach the end of the maze and grab the immunity necklace wins immunity.  It is a close challenge, one of the closest final challenges, with Russell, Parvati, and Jerri both just inches away from the necklace and Russell wins.

Jerri is voted out and the final three face the questions from the jury and then the vote.

Jeff gathers the votes and then heads to NY for the finale and with votes for Parvati and Sandra in the end Sandra is the Survivor winner.

It has been an amazing season because of all of you.  We appreciate your support.

Reward Challenge - Its the loved one challenge!  The Survivor has a pail to scoop water from the ocean and then has to “pass” throw the water to the loved one who has a pail to catch it.  Then they pour the caught water into a bucket - first to fill it wins.  Colby doesn’t do well and spends most of his energy on yelling at his brother.  Jerri, Russell and Rupert’s teams are doing well and in the end Jerri pulls it together for the win.  She picks Parvati and Sandra to enjoy the challenge with her and off they go to visit the blow holes and have a feast.  It was a beautiful reward.

Back at camp Rupert, Colby and Russell align and vow to be the “final three”.

Immunity Challenge - Stand with arms outstretched and balance two poles holding up a board on the tops of their hands.  Colby, keeping to his regular style, is out in 15 seconds.  Then Parvati, in her style, balances the longest and Wins Immunity.

At tribal council Jeff tries to stir things up but it isn’t working.  The votes are cast and Sandra stands up and turns over her idol.  It didn’t matter in the end though as Rupert was voted off.

Candace flipped last week - The Villains say “thanks, but we don’t need you any more.” and The Heroes are disgusted.

Immunity Challenge 1 - Each Survivor stands barefoot on a perch with his/her hand tied to a bucket above his/her head.  Last person to drop her arm wins.  We wondered if the Survivors realize the goal was to stay IN the challenge as long as possible, not how quickly you can drop out.  Within one minute Sandra and Russell are out and enjoying cookies and milk, 20 minutes later Colby quits, 15 minutes after that Danielle, Candice and Jerri all step down leaving Rupert and Parvarti in.  Rupert loses his balance and drops his arm so Parvati WINS.

At the end of the challenge Jeff reads a clue to another secret immunity idol so all go back to camp and start searching.  Beating out Russell for the first time ever, Sandra finds the idol.  However, not one to give up Rupert puts a rock in his pocket and tries to trick people into thinking he found the idol.

Tribal 1 - At tribal the Villains are splitting the vote to draw out the idol but in the end the Heroes join the split and sway the vote and Candace is out.

Challenge 2 - This time it is a three part challenge.  First they race to dig out a peg and use it to go through a table maze.  Rupert, Sandra, Russell, Parvati and Danielle make it through first so they go to the second challenge.  Use 4 pegs to get to the top of a wall - this time it is just Russell, Rupert and Parvati winning.  The final race is to solve a slide puzzle and Russell wins that and wins immunity.

Tribal Council 2 - Russell tried to split up Danielle and Parvati before tribal but it doesn’t work then at tribal Jeff gets Danielle talking an she reveals the alliance and how close the three are but how much closer she is to Parvati - uhhh ohhhh.  Her lack of the “shut up button” gets her voted off.

Russell was ticked off that Danielle and Parvati didn’t tell him about the second idol but they didn’t seem to care.  So Russell goes out to gain more alliances.  He approaches Candace and asks her to switch sides.

Reward Challenge - Survivor Shuffle.  The team that gets their disk closest to the “X” wins a trip to Robert Louis Stevenson’s house and to view a screening of Treasure Island.  Danielle, Amanda and Colby team wins because of Colby’s fine shuffleboard talents.

At the reward Danielle finds the clue but Amanda sees her and takes the clue and after fighting over it Amanda turns it back over to Danielle.  Danielle takes the clue back to camp and shares the information with Russell and Parv.  Russell, in true Russell the idol finder style, finds the idol but this time doesn’t tell anyone about it except Candace.

Immunity - each person has 150 times to use to build a “house of cards” that reaches 10 feet.  Jerri WINS!

Russell, so therefore the Villians, want Amanda off and the Heroes push to get rid of Russell.  Sandra finds out that Candace has flipped sides and tries to pull her back to the Heroes side where she has gone too but to no avial.  So at tribal Amanda is voted off.
